The Autofeeds MK 2 Autocutter is a much faster version of our highly successful and respected MCT 800 Autocutter (In excess of 600 units sold World Wide).

Autofeeds recognized several years ago that the industry required high output from short cut off lengths, and while our MCT 800 exceeds any competitor in this regard by a significant amount, Autofeeds established a need to maintain 100ft/minute throughput on letter size documents that are so prevalent in today's thermal laminating arena.

Our competitors tout line speeds for their inferior cutters at 100-150ft/minute, without ever qualifying the cut length. This is highly misleading to the uninformed buyer.

The MCT 800 in it's standard form will maintain 100ft/minute for any sheet cut length 20" or above, when double cutting nose and tail margins when processing encapsulated products.

The MK 2 Autocutter in it's standard from will maintain 100ft/minute for any sheet cut length, 8 1/2" or above, when double cutting nose and tail margins, when processing encapsulated products.

Thus, the high yield specification of our MK 2 Autocutter enables the maximum line speed potential to be maintained on Autofeeds HSTS 3048 laminator when running letter sizes in the landscape mode.

In sheeting mode or in longer repeats either of Autofeeds fine cutters can reach line speeds over 300ft/minute! We do not make this statement in our brochures however, because the reality of the thermal laminating arena is short cut lengths and double cutting of margins for edge seal products. (A fact of life our competitors choose to ignore).

These speeds are able to be maintained without compromise to cut accuracy which we guarantee at ± .005" or better.
